In 2015 I took a six-week pottery class and became hooked. After my husband and I retired and moved to Monterey, I took some ceramics classes at Monterey Peninsula College where I learned about Peninsula Potters, a cooperative studio. Now as a member of Peninsula Potters, I spend time developing my skills, refining techniques, and exploring ideas. Sharing a studio with other potters is a great source of inspiration as well.

For 40 years I was the principal gardener at our home in San Jose. Now I am playing in a different kind of clay. Finding my own personal style in pottery is a joyful journey.
